Guitarists Doug Deming and Steve Arvey conceived this event, being originally from Chicago and Detroit both Doug and Steve have performed with many top name harmonica players over the years and love the music and stylings of Little Walter.

The concept of this show is to have Internationally known harmonica players perform Little Walter songs and include local harmonica players in the performance. This show’s harmonica headliners will be Steve Guyger and Dennis Gruenling.

Steve Guyger has been a regular on the touring blues scene for many years and is most recognized for filling the shoes of Little Walter in the Jimmy Rogers Band. His playing, vocals, songwriting and stage presence have earned him a place among the best of the players on stage today. To Visit Steve’s Website Click Here!

Dennis Gruenling has been a driving force in the harmonica world for a number of years now, both as a touring player and an in-demand teacher. Endorsed by Hohner Harmonicas, Dennis can be found touring with Doug Deming & the Jewel Tones, The Woodstock All-stars, Dave Gross and Gina Sicilia. Dennis released a Little Walter Tribute CD in 2008 to critical acclaim.

Locally we will have Ernie Locke who was with Nervous Turkey and now with The Lambasters, Steve Scott from Bradenton’s Bottom-Feeders and Steve Arvey’s Harmonica Band, Tony Smith who is the Harmonica Player with Doug Deming, Kevin McInerney from Frayed Knot and The Backtrack Blues Band with Chuck Ross on Harmonica.

The house band for the evening will be Doug Deming & the Jewel Tones, with special guest Steve Arvey.
