I could hardly be a bigger fan of Elmore James, but gee, Tampa Red had recorded the song at least twice, and probably performed it thousands of times, before Elmore James recorded anything.  Elmore James essentially took over Tampa Red&#039;s band after Tampa Red went on a binge after his wife&#039;s death in 1953.]]></description>
