In Lithuania during the first weekend of July blues fans head to Varniai for the Bliuzo Naktys (Blues Nights). This year was their 20th festival and they had a great lineup. And of course photographer Aigars Lapsa loaded up his camera and left Latvia to head to Lithuania. In this week’s Photo Page, Aigars shares some of what he was.

Aigars said the the headliners each night, John Mooney and Boney Fields, were the highlights of the festival. He also said that the Krissy Matthews Band from the United Kingdom were great on the first day and that on the second day a Latvian youth band, Coolmans Report was another treat.
