Blues on Broadbeach Announces 2013 Lineup


The 2013 Blues on Broadbeach Music Festival has announced it’s largest lineup ever for next year on the Gold Coast in Australia. Transcending the barriers of age, gender, and culture Blues on Broadbeach is one of Australia’s most iconic blues festivals. The festival nurtures local talent as well as providing a stage for international performers. The festival provides a musical experience like no other in Queensland while remaining a free and non-ticketed event as it has since it’s inception.
Artists announced so far are Ian Moss, Vanessa Amorosi, Jon Stevens, Prinnie and Mahalia, The Revelators, Russel Morris and Sharkmouth, Ali Penney and the Moneymakers, Andy Baxter Band, Andrew Winton, Andy Baylors Cajun Trio, Asa Broomhall, Ben Eaton Duo, Benny Walker Band, Blind Willie Wagtail, Blue Eyes Cry, Cal Williams Jr., Claude Hay, Dan Hannaford, Darren Jack Hammond Trio, Devil’s Kiosk, Doc Spann Band, Dreamboogie, Dukesy and the Hazzards, Flamin’ Crows, Gail Page Band, George and Noriko, Ghost Road, Harry Brus Band, Hat Fitz and Cara, Jess Valach, Jimi Beavis and Dave McGuire, Jim Hocking’s Blues Machine, Joshua Needs, Jules Bolt and the Redeemers, Juzzie Smith, Kelly Auty, Kevin Borich Express, Lachy Doley, Little Fi and the Dirty Rascals, Mal Eastick Band, Mason Rack, Minnie Marks, Mojo Webb, Nat Col and the Kings, Nick Charles, P.L Williamson, Paul Cheesman, Phil Emmanuel, Phil Manning, Ray Beadle Band, Richard Perso, Shaun Kirk, Steve Edmonds Band, The Syndicators, Tim Griffin, Tom Richardson, Transvaal Diamond Sindicate, Tuesday’s Good, The Widowbirds, and Zevon and the Werewolves. There will also be a tribute to Queensland blues legend Wiley Reed, who recently passed away.
