First Annual Bradenton Blues Festival

BluesWax and Blues Revue are very proud to be co-founders and presenting sponsors of the Bradenton Blues Festival, especially since by all accounts its debut festival was a huge success. Attracting nearly four times the fans  of the initial estimate, it was virtually a sell out! And no wonder, with artists like Ruthie Foster, Kenny Neal, Johnny Sansone, Southern Hospitality, Homemade Jamz, Steve Arvey Horn Band featuring Henry Lawrence, and Ben Prestage this will be a festival to put on the calendar. Award-winning photographer Joe Rosen left the New York City winter to get some Florida sunshine. Along the way he had a gallery showing of his performance photos at the Blues Revue Gallery in conjunction with the festival. On this week’s Photo Page, Joe shares some of his photographs from the Bradenton Blues Festival.
