Both Jock’s Juke Joint albums are fantastic but are only scratching at the surface of the abundance of fantastic ‘ Blues ‘ bands we currently enjoy here in Scotland. Please, please make an effort to see at least some of these bands play live in all sorts of venues and support the young up and coming artists that WILL be the future of the ‘ Blues ‘ scene in the UK and beyond

I have had the pleasure of playing at both CD launches, the quality of musicians astounds me, Scotland abounds with wonderful talent both young and old. The blues is alive and well in all its different forms here

I live in south west Scotland, love blues and am privileged to know some of Jock’s Juke Joint musicians and to have been present at gigs, either of individual bands or at a launch event.
The range of talent is quite amazing – where have they all been hiding over the last few years!?
One of the beauties of both albums is that artists are young and not-so-young, ensuring an on-going tradition.
Another is the sheer versatility of voices and musicians, some solo, some with a number of band members and different blues ‘styles’ performed.
Above all, it’s making people aware of the depth and quality of the genre.

Avid follower of Lewis Hamilton a very talented young man and band. Bought both juke joint albums. Best albums I have bought in ages. I have to see these bands live

This review mirrors my thoughts when I listened to Vol.1, again and again. Not one track can be criticised, all excellent.
