I was just leaving the library when this interview was starting. Wow! I would have have loved being a fly on the wall. The Blues Cruise just blew me away and Victor Wainwright was one of the reasons why. He was totally unknown to me before the cruise. He really rocked the piano bar. What a great voice!!

Saw these three young monsters here in Cleveland a year ago on a cold and snowy night play on smoking gig! Each of them is sooo talented, and put the three together and you have as good of a band as there is. Victor was quite the showman as well – he raised over $400 by passing the hat in the crowd to get their van out from the towing police as they parked in a tow-zone. Great little diddy he performed while telling the story of them coming to Cleveland that night and how they were trying out this Southern Hospitality thing…

This article slipped passed me somehow…between the blues cruise and IBC’s… AMAZING! Victor is an incredible musician and this interview was really entertaining. Well done!! Can’t wait for part 2!
